Worshipful Company of Bowyers Prize Day

The Worshipful Company of Bowyers is one of the older and smaller of the City of London’s livery companies, dating back to the 14th century, when longbow making was first established in London on a large scale in the 1330s.

The Bowyers’ Prize Day is an invitational only competition organised by the Royal Toxophilite Society and we were delighted when Raquel was invited to represent the club. She shot her personal best, scoring 1006 points in Hereford, finishing in the top five, an excellent achievement and by all accounts a very enjoyable day.
