Christmas Shoot and 2023 Round-up

It was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas after Southfields Archers gathered for their Christmas shoot. With the Christmas elf’s providing festive treats and festive targets, the archers merrily dressed in jolly jumpers had a cheery time, the shoot concluded with a raffle. Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to all the participants, contributors and Bill for being honorary Christmas jumper judge.

With the year coming to an end, here’s a round-up of 2023. Southfields Archers took part in 25 competitions (44 members participated) throughout the year winning a total of 94 medals. Highlights included the inaugural Southern Counties Archery Youth Tour (SCAYT), where Sarah, Mikolaj and Sebastian were crowned overall winners. The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) World Games took place in the summer and Andrea took home a silver medal. Our archers also claimed 15 county records and achieved nine Archery GB outdoor awards.
